Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile Dysfunction is a condition where there is an inability to have an erection firm enough for penetrative intercourse. Erectile Dysfunction is extremely common and affects half of men over the age of 50.
Anything that affects the heart, can affect the erection, such as being overweight or having high blood pressure. Certain neurological conditions can also affect an erection. There are many different treatment options for erectile dysfunction including: oral medications, injections, intra-urethral suppositories, vacuum erection devices and penile implants.
Erectile dysfunction can be treated by losing weight, improving eating habits to include more fruits and vegetables and a lower fat intake. Physical activity is also shown to treat ED.
