Same-Day Urgent Care

  • Walk-ins are accepted. Please note we take walk-in patients up to 15 minutes prior to the close of business.
  • You can save your spot in line ahead of your arrival. While not an appointment, it will let us know when to expect you.
  • For patients without a primary care provider or who may not be able to see their primary care provider, our team of providers can diagnose and treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients 16 weeks and older. 
  • Need Primary Care? For patients without a primary care provider, schedule an appointment with one of our family medicine providers for evaluation of your non-urgent medical concern by calling 667-214-2100 (option 4).

    •  Existing UM Family Medicine patients can schedule their flu and shingles vaccines in Columbia. COVID-19 boosters may be scheduled for our Downtown Baltimore location, or at your local pharmacy. 

On-Site Services

  • X-ray services and lab testing
  • Pre-operative testing and evaluation (walk-in or schedule in advance; must be completed at least 72 hours prior to surgery; bring your paperwork)
  • Sports Medicine and specialty care services, including Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Lyme Disease, Sleep Medicine, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Facial Nerve Disorders, and more.

COVID-19 Testing

  • We are welcome to see you for your COVID symptoms, however we do not prescribe Paxlovid through Urgent Care.
  • COVID-19 testing is offered to patients who have respiratory symptoms and/or who may have recently been exposed to the virus. 
  • We perform PCR tests to ensure accuracy. Test results are provided within 48 hours and will appear in MyChart. 
  • Patients are COVID-19, flu, strep and RSV tested in negative pressure rooms to prevent potential spread.

Post-Infectious Disease Program

For patients with ongoing symptoms after initial treatment for COVID-19 and other illnesses, they can schedule a virtual or in-person appointment in Columbia with our Infectious Disease specialists for further evaluation and care.
