Thoracic Surgery

The University of Maryland Division of Thoracic Surgery is nationally recognized for developing innovative treatments for benign and malignant diseases of the structures and organs of the chest (thoracic). We also offer multidisciplinary evaluations for most of the diseases we treat. Our physicians are experts in minimally invasive surgery for the lung, esophagus, thymus and other areas of the chest.
